Back with another qs - did you renew your connected drive service when it expired? I do find it useful probably 30-40% of the time...not all the time tho...I think if I don’t renew, map updates will stop...thanks

I’m on the fence and mine will expire 10/7/23. So far has been great. However, I’m getting the dreaded shudder at low speeds. Taking my X5 for service in a week. A txfer case replacement is 6-7k. Extended warranty makes sense in my case. But I’ll see if they find a fix.

Yes, I renewed mine and I think most have. You lose too much in my opinion if you don't have it.

I bought out my lease and did purchase the Platinum warranty. I used advice here on the forums and shopped around for the best price!
On a side note, the warranties are prorated. So if you purchase and get the new car bug before the warranty is up, you can at least recoup some of the money. The warranties can also be transferred to the next owner which could be a selling point if you sold the car privately. |
