I wonder if you could use a razor sticker scraper and scrape the dots off before having film installed? I wish I would've tried it.

Update: I pressed on the rear side window film around the dotted areas yesterday and today it looks great. It sticks and didn't pull away.

Did you just do this with your finger? I got tinted about 3 days ago and tried to press with my finger on the front glass to no avail. I am going to try a credit card later today but was just wondering on your technique. Thanks.

Yes, try it every day after the film is installed using your finger. It didn't hold the day after but I forget how many days before the film finally stuck after being pressed. Don't try the credit card.. it will scratch the film. Don't ask how I know.
