MSRP $103,500 M50i 2021
Final price $95500 without incentives.

Do you guys thinks I got a good deal? Please let me know.

Thanks
I would probably push for another $1,500 or so discount but given how discounts are down in general you probably are getting a good deal. Let us know how it turns out.
Yeah men. Im going to try to get a little more off MSRP. Waiting for September to try to get better incentives.

I contacted a few additional dealers, and one offered me 8.5% off MSRP before rebates or incentives. I thought this was pretty good and went for it.

Note this is in the tri-state area, which seems to be a crowded and competitive market. There are actually 10 BMW dealerships within 20 miles of me, which is pretty amazing.

Does anyone know what the 2021 residuals are yet?

I was told 54% for 12K on the 2021 M50i...

BMW USA just posted August 2021 Lease and Finance rates for X5.

Surprise they added them in the middle of month.

Residual still 55% and not showing any loyalty credit.

Finance went up to 1.9%

Strange as three dealers offered me $1000 loyalty credit, $2000 finance credit, 0.9% financing on my 2021 X5 45e. All three gave those to me in writing so it's on my ordered X5 and locked in with the dealer I eventually went with.

Most dealers will allow you to pick current deal available or the one you agreed to when you placed your order to ensure you get the beet deal.

You current deal is far better. Maybe September will get even better.

Great you got it in writing because I expect the 2021 deals to not be as aggressive as 2020 because dealers need to still move the 2020.

Plus remember some incentives/ dealer contributions are regional based

Looks like the 2021 X5 45e still has the same incentives according to the BMW website. The incentives on a 2021 X5 40i are different

signed up an order for lease on a 2021 x5 xdrive40 with MSport - executive at al from northern nj dealer. Conducted a reverse auction. Contacted 7 dealers. Only had any real engagement from 3. Was able to get 9% off msrp plus an additional 750 rebate. Base MF. 699 doc fee (a bit steep). Had 10 percent off plus the rebate in PA and a 521 fee but decided it was not worth my while to drive 5 hours round trip. 8% off from another NJ dealer with base MF but wanted 1200 in doc fees. Not an easy process - like pulling teeth except for the PA dealer. done all on the internet but I had some time. I think if you wait a month or two you will be back to getting 12 percent off.

I am still seeing plenty 2020's around, are they going for better residuals than 2021s?

Since I received info from this thread, I am passing along info from a recent search for a new car for my wife. I did not end up moving forward as I went with another brand. These were the best offers I found (metro Atlanta area):

10% off msrp for ordered 2021 x40i
6% off msrp for ordered 2021 45e

Both discounts were before any BMW incentives and before the electric vehicle tax credit on the 45e. Delivery on either was estimated for October.

Interestingly, there were very few cars in inventory on dealer lots. One dealer would not discount a 2020 car in inventory as much as a 2021 ordered car-reportedly due to a shortage of inventory. I was interested in an in stock 2020 x40i but could only manage about 5.6% off msrp.

My 2021 X5 X40I M Sport package took only 3.5 weeks from submission to dealer. But since August incentives were so low, dealer suggested we wait until September to see if it gets better, as it most likely could not be worse.

Anyone know how long it takes to deliver from "Production begins" as my X5 45e just went that status. I'm thinking 3-4 weeks?

Can you PM me the dealer in northern NJ. I'm currently looking for a 2021 X5 xdrive40 with Msport also.

That is one of the highest discounts I have seen off the 45e, I would say you have done well.
