Living in Westchester, NY, our winters aren’t too bad, especially recently. I rarely have to drive in the snow, but occasionally need to and obviously it’s too cold for Summer tires. Not interested in investing in a winter rim/tire combo as I like the OEM wheels and want them on all year. Don’t need squishy winter tires as, again, I rarely drive in the snow and if I do it’s plowed roads.

Finding a matching set of AS was a little challenging. Tire Rack doesn’t have any, dealer said nothing was available and local well known tire shops couldn’t find anything either.

I found 3 options online. Accelera Iota, Delinte Desert Storm and Arroyo Grand Sport. The decision was easy. Although the Accelera and Delinte are rated as AS it’s clear from the tread pattern that there is no way those tires would work in any amount of snow. Big tread blocks. Temp maybe. I chose the Arroyo because the tread pattern looks very similar to the Pirelli Zero AS on my wife’s X3M, the sidewall looks very similar to the Michelin PS which is to say good looking, the company is US based, Cali, and manufacturers in Thailand (not China) which is where Michelin makes some tires to.

Price is unbelievably good. $170 a tire and can be bought a few online stores but onlinetire had them the cheapest. All 4 delivered was about $730 with tax.

Here’s a pic of them just delivered. Getting them installed at the dealer next month during break in service and will update with how they feel and look on the car.

I'm definitely interested in your feedback on these. I'm all for saving a buck just as long as there's comparable performance.

Will do. The money saving was nice but as I mentioned this really is the only option unless I did mismatched front and back.

Had these installed yesterday and did about 30 miles of driving. I haven’t really pushed the tires and doubtfully ever will but initial impressions are they are quiet, a little more forgiving on road imperfections, handle similar, look good and heck of a bargain. Suits my needs perfectly as I rarely have to drive in winter weather but with a family need to be prepared.

2 pics of the Arroyo tires below as well as one with the OEM tires when it was on showroom floor.

Weird online tire doesn't list them for our car. Can you verify the size you ordered?

I'd be leery. I drive fast, sometimes very fast, in Texas summers for distances.
Where are they made?

Thailand according to the OP.

What a deal on tires in this size (provided they’re not garbage). Too bad I need full on dedicated winter tires otherwise these would have been worth a shot.

Here is their corporate website. I get the hesitation but from everything I’ve found on them I feel pretty good. Plus it’s really my only option for my needs.

Oh I understand, I also would like an AS alternative, our rainy seasons here can be flash floods for weeks

I’m far from a tire expert but I have to imagine the fairly deep tread and pattern can evacuate a whole lot more water than the summers.

I did find them on onlinetires.com. They have the 315's, but 295's are out of stock - just pulled this:
