What transmission is in the X5M Comp?

All I can find is it says 8spd Steptronic... Our X3 M Comp and our M4 Comp both have a ZF 8 SPD, but I can't find exactly which gearbox this car has. Anyone know for sure?

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it. I couldn't find find it anywhere. So, if it's the ZF it's a stout transmission.

ZF is about the best auto transmissions available for automotive use. But some manufacturers (Chrysler, i.e.) are kind of frugal in their programming of the transmission and they can't compare to the programming that BMW offers in their vehicles.
