Finally picked up the car today.

Special thanks to Dan @ Next Level for helping me secure a great deal and assisting throughout.

Nick at A Buff and Beyond who took delivery directly from the dealer and did the ceramic coating and tinting same day (beautiful work)

And the local expert turtle boy for all the guidance throughout.

Will share some pics when I have them. Still trying to learn the car but so far a very fun ride.

Congrats, I worked with Dan also. Hadn't thought about the ceramic coating, will look into it as I'm also buying my vehicle.

Highly recommend Nick at A Buff and Beyond. Fantastic work, beautiful facilities and has some insane vehicles that are always being worked on when you’re there. Was a bit of a drive for me but well worth it.

I have a 2024 X5 PHEV in Tanzanite Blue with the Coffee Merino leather and its really nice. Love the leather seats, nice quality. Tanzanite Blue looks near black at night, different looks during sun and clouds.

I have almost all the options on there and really glad to have the massaging seats - even on short rides. This is my first BMW, i ordered it and it came a few weeks early b/c the production was on schedule and performance center closed so i couldnt go to Spartanburg to pick it up.
I have been charging to 80-90% but probably will research and switch to 100%.
I bought the BMW Wallbox to charge it regularly in my garage. I used my own electrician and it was less costly i think than Qmerit. Watch the instructions for installing, as online is the only way to find them and there are different sets for overseas and the US. You have to know how to set the dip switches. I have the right install manual if you or anyone would need it. I charge it after i get home and use departure times on the app, but the app keeps changing to charge in a time slot, so you have to watch the app to fix that regularly. Smooth ride!

Thank you! If I can only get it out of service now for the dreaded CEL coming on. I should have waited to have it coated.

Congrats and great color combo! I ordered the massage seats as well and agree they’re great. I’m using a charge point charger and charging to 100%. Good luck. Hopefully you avoid any check engine issues. I haven’t been so lucky.

That is unfortunate Pappy. Hope it's something trivial like a gas cap not fitted correctly and you get to enjoy your lovely car. I'm hearing a lot of these CEL's come up because the gas cap is not tightened fully.

Beautiful vehicle, congrats!
What has the service center said about the cause of the CEL?
