For those of you looking to track your car using your VIN, it would be worth trying with Hoegh Autoliners. They do have a North America to Europe route.

I am able to track my VIN with them to Dubai, UAE. Should leave Jacksonville port by 25th May.

Dealer originally told me delivery date would be around July-August

Thanks for sharing, but what format are you using VIN ? when I place mine, it tells me wrong format...

Does it also work if shipment is done by Wallenius Wilhelmsen?

I used my full 17 character VIN number and it worked. Car was built 28th April, I noticed it worked yesterday. But hadn't a few weeks ago.

Wallenius Wilhelmsen has their own tracking but they require a Bill of landing (BOL) number and then shows all the VINs on that BOL.

Luckily looks like mine is with Hoegh so I'm able to track it. I haven't cross-verified the ship/dates with my dealer. But so far looks like it should be accurate. Has the right discharge port.

Can you try mdecoder .com? It said mine was made on 1st of May, wondering what is says for you. Also what dealer did you order from? What city?

yes, car landed in Europe 24.5 - will take two weeks to get to dealer, than some prep work... cca week 24 handing over (hopefully)

I have ordered mine in February in Belgium. using the VIN on Mdecoder only shows me the production date on 04/04/2023; however the dealer has no further info whatsoever. Any clues on how to find out more about the car's whereabouts?

No - even dealers cannot track them as far as I know, your was produced two weeks before mine. So must have come on same ship latest... from ship to dealer takes cca 14 days, based on info I got...

BMW is working with Wallenius too. The ship « taipan » leave Charleston on 18/05 and arrived at Bremerhaven yesterday. Should be at Zeebrugge tomorrow…

Update. I just received the car, it arrived in Romania faster than we expected and than my dealer told me at the beginning. The car was worth all the money, I'm fascinated and I'm still waiting to discover all the functions. I am attaching some pictures

hello, I received the car (X5 LCI) and in order not to open another topic, I ask a short question here. I have the "my bmw" application and everything works very well, but on my car, although I have DAP, PAP and almost all the professional equipment with which the car could be equipped from the application, I cannot remotely see the 3D view (as I look in the example with demo car). Does anyone know why? I mention that I am from Europe, Romania...

I had a similar issue when I picked mine up, I’d not accepted the data protection statement in the car, once I did the 3d remote view was available

Is this allowed in your country? In Belgium I can use remote 3D view. But only a few times in a certain time period because of privacy rules. But when I'm on holiday in Austria I cannot use remote 3D view because it's not allowed there because of privacy rules.
