Convertible car seat recommendations

Hi! My little guy is growing out of his newborn car seat - any recommendations for the next level up (convertible I think) for the X5? We were looking at the Nuna Rava - we have the Nuna infant seat already - but any recommendations to the contrary certainly welcome or feedback on that particular one. In particular I’m curious about how much space there is between the car seat and the back of the passenger seat as I find it a little tight with the infant car seat. Thanks!

I had a Chicco Nextfit Zip in the back of my G01, it fit just fine rear facing behind the driver's seat. I am 5'8" so have the front seat back some (my husband is 5'11" and it just fit when he was driving). The rear seat leg room is pretty similar between the X3 and the X5, so it should work for you unless you are very tall.

Do you have at least the same amount of space behind the seat as with the Nuna Pippa infant seat? I actually put the infant seat behind the driver seat (I usually drive) since my wife likes to leave her seat back farther than I do and would accidentally back into the car seat.

Its a same clarence or even shorter by few inches. But my toddler is 3 amd he have long legs . So he kick my seat if i put him behind me so i move him over to passenger side kuz most time his mom sit in the back with him. And the nuna rava is reclind adjustment too and my toddler is facing forward now

I use two Chicco MyFits harness booster seats. They are pretty good and should fit a 3 year old just fine. We just replaced a Recaro proride with these. Space is still tight, but I don’t think I can get much smaller lengthwise or width. Can be had at Albee baby for 20% off with MAR20 (they always seem to have 20% off sales on this seat). My 4 and 6 year olds are in them, still in the harness mode (good for 25-65 lb kids). I’d guess you would be good weight wise. It’s a lot more comfortable than other seats we looked at, and has 2 cup holders which is handy. We, and the kids, are super happy with the seats.
