Anyone with acoustic glass option please check to see if you have them in all 4 doors. Also please add some pictures. Someone just mention that there are acoustic glass on all 4 window.

I could be wrong but I thought they said it was only for the front doors.

Should be able to see the two pieces of glass put together when looking at the top of the window, right?

I just checked that 4 windows are the same kind - a sandwich like glass
That's the reason price increases from $150 to $300.

Just checked, all 4 windows has laminated glass. No wonder it is so quiet
!

My dealer honer the original $150 price although the window sticker shows $300 for this option.
I think it is still worth it even at $300.

Laminated/acoustic glass are everywhere. The upper Jeep Grand Cherokee’s has it on all the glass. The base model Grand Cherokee’s have it on just the front.
It’s not that big of a deal. I had full laminated glass on every window on my Summit and didn’t notice any difference.

In BMW world, $150 is practically free so it’s a no brainer if it doesn’t cause a delay in your order.

When I ordered mine in December I was contacted by the CA a couple days later that the acoustic glass option would cause a delay, didn’t want a delay so I had it removed. It was a $150 option then, now it is $300. Possibly they are trying to cut down on the orders with it?

I placed an order December 8 then add acoustic glass December 10 $150. Lucky I added this option.

Does anyone know if we get the acoustic glass by default in Canadian orders?

On the bmw.ca site, it is not explicitly listed in any of the packages and is not on the list of options we can add.

What is the bmw build code for acoustic glass? My car is supposed to have it, and I decoded all the options on the VIN...... but most are written in German.

What code number (or german verbiage) should I be looking for?
