Update. I called the dealership today, they said production would start this week.
Turns out production is finished already. Status 156 - waiting for transport I think she said.
I got the VIN, production date was 25th October.
Expected arrival date at dealership is bumped from week 51 to 49. Only downside is we will only get the plates in 2020 (fiscal reasons), so it will be at the dealership for a few weeks

Thanks to info from W0ut in another thread I found the most likely transport vessel, it will arrive in Charlestone today, and in Zeebrugge on November 19.

My CA called me on Wednesday to book delivery for 12th November, then rang a day later to say that BMW have put a freeze on the 45e deliveries. Apparently they’ve decided to do a recall to do with moving the earth wire on the auxiliary heater. Doesn’t sound like the biggest job so hopefully won’t take too long to do.

I won’t get mine until they’ve done that work. Anyone who’s already taken delivery may have that to look forward to.

The car has arrived since 22 October in Zeebrugge. Paperwork just arrived at the dealership, but they will leave the car at the transport company for a while since we will get the plates in January.
So no pictures for now 😭😭
the W49 prediction was correct though.

PS: official co2 emissions (WLTP) is 31grams, you gotta love standardized testing 😄

We finally got delivery yesterday. In the evening so low quali pictures.
What can I say, it’s black! Very
Winter rims are mounted.
So far no issues. It has wrinkle gate but the wife doesn’t seem to care so I’ probably will not complain. The dealership guy said it will improve over time (??)

I spotted a “Juma Leuven” display in the photo, which funnily enough is also present in the Mechelen branch :-)
