Anyone ordered the 4.0d 340hp model?

They have a 4.0l diesel engine? I thought the 340hp model came with a 3.0l engine.

40d is a 3 L with 2 turbos and 340 hp. And now also with a small hybrid system.

I had it on my 640d GT. Great engine. Lots of torque 700 NM. Nice sound to. That one didn't have the hybrid system.

Yep its the twin turbo version. The model designation is 4.0D About £2.5k more than 3.0D.

For 2.5 K extra I would chose the 40d.

Ps it is without a point: 40d and not 4.0d

Indeed both 30d and 40d without a point. Not sure why I added the point as I have the 30d G05 so should know better! lol.

I think it's about 13% ish I think but doesnt include the interior protection, full tank and whatever other accessories I can wring out them

I got 14.8% off my 30d last year in April 19 and the discounts on those went to about 20% but the 40d is only just out so I think you did well!

That was on a VIP event, so don't know if that made any difference. When I ordered, they hinted at the 40d replacing the 30d in time.
