key fob

Hi does anyone know why the key fob falls out,it lets me turn the engine on but then the fob won't stay in, Thanks

Happens to me occasionally. No idea why. But for the most part, when you insert it, it clicks, and then it should stay in.

Shouldn't fall out at all. It's supposed to click upon inserting and pushed in for removal.

I'm guessing the prongs that hold the key fob in are worn out and not grabbing?
