here are my seats at delivery vs when I traded it in a couple of months ago. I would say about 95% of the wrinkles went away. Build date was 01/19, Tartufo Merino leather. It's hard to accurately capture the color.

The correspondence was by email, you already commented on it last year.
I’m actually starting to feel sorry for you. I hope this is just some stupid persona you like to use online and not that you are this way in real life. If it isn’t I wish you the best in everyday interactions and hopefully things get better. |

Unbelievable that anybody in their right mind could think the wrinkles were meant to be there. On a luxury brand they would be consistent not variable, that's how mass production works. |

It shouldn’t be surprising you made that meaningless remark about the mass production, you have shown time and time again that you have no interest in learning about the seats or paying attention to the information that people have presented. Maybe if you ever decide to have a conversation like an adult you will read through the thread first, you will be surprised at how much you learn so you don’t continue to sound so foolish. |

That is not normal and should be a warranty item. Have your dealer check it out.

This is just a car forum, a good one too, and those who come here come to get help, answers, alert us of things they’ve found and some friendly back and forth banter not hurtful derogatory remarks. This isn’t a court of law, I’m not going to nor trying to prove anything, just stating the facts as they were presented to me. BMPHIL , its up to you whether you want to believe what I wrote and what BMW NA stated or not. What is so critical about this topic that you need proof from BMW? You can go after it yourself if you choose not to believe others, no need to attack anyone. Personally, I really don’t care, I know the context in which I wrote it and I try to state the facts and be helpful as well as adding a bit of humor here and there. You already saw what I posted from BMW on this topic early last year when I posted it and you replied to it with your thoughts shortly thereafter. I’m not one to continue one upping people, I just don’t have a need for that. So you can reply to this post if you feel the need but don’t expect me to counter if your reply is negative, I’ll just ignore it. |

Went to see the dealer today and was told that the seat will need to be heated and shrank. If that doesn't work, the leather cover will have to be replaced. Does anyone know if this (heating and shrinking) is common practice? And will it cause damage or have longer term effect on the leather? Wondering if I should press on having it replaced instead.

I’ll have to do the same with the pictures I’ve posted here shortly after delivery vs now. My seats are like Android’s, Merino and had minimal “comfort” wrinkles. |
