45e battery loses 20% while parked for 1h

I've noticed this 3 times now: I drive off from home with a 100% battery and hit my destination with the battery at 75%. Then I leave the car parked outside for about 1h. When I come back the battery is at about 50%. My estimate is a drop of 20% while the car was parked and "off". There's always some noticeable reduction in battery percentage while the car is parked.

Has anyone seem something like this?

Outside temperature has been around 45F (7C). I had driven 8 miles today from 100% battery in full
electric before parking the car. Mostly freeway, under 65mph, no traffic.

Warm battery (from garage at home) to cold battery (after sitting in lot) explains the difference. Range will be affected until the system warms back up again.

It's not the range but battery percentage lost that doesn't come back.

This is roughly how battery was spent today:
25% to destination (8 miles)
25% to "parking" for 1h outside at 45F
25% on the way back home (8miles)

Parked my car at home with 25% battery left having driven only 16 miles on an empty freeway below 65mph.

My garage was at 56F.

Best guess is that it's temperature related and the system is affected such that it goes into a protection mode if the temp is cold. May be something worth getting checked out though if there is some sort of vampire draw while parked. Does it loose charge if parked in your garage overnight unplugged?

Are you pretreating the interior at all? Do you have a dash cam? If neither of those, you may want to check everything is going to sleep/off when you get out. It shouldn't be losing that much charge when parked and off.
