If it is anything like what I have in 22 M5C, then I would not get it.
I find it kind of useless as I do not feel like it is doing much even at maximum level 3 setting.

In China, the massaging seats in the back of the ubiquitous Buick GL8 mini van have a great massaging feature that that is much closer to what you would find in a proper massage chair - really gets the spine.

I recently ordered MY24 and i optioned most of the packages and the massage seat was a stand alone so the box wasn’t checked. I have it on my current MY21 x5 and it’s not impressive at all and I probably used maybe handful time and I wouldn’t probably order again unless they upgrade it or something. If it’s included into the options that i want something else in the package and i have to get it then I’ll get it but if that’s not the case then I’ll pass.

The massage is not like you'd get at a masseur, and is primarily intended to avoid stiffness and blood clots from sitting for a longer time. If you expect a massage chair or professional massage, you'll be disappointed. IMHO, an aggressive massage would also be distracting, and not something that should be in the driver's seat...maybe in any of the other locations in the vehicle. YOu want your attention to be on the roadway, not that you're feeling great. Helping you keep your attention from being distracted by stiffness, or the health issue of a potential blood clot is much more important.

I use mine all the time unless it's a short 5 mile jaunt, otherwise, hit the massage. I find it really helps with stiffness on trips. Its a function I won't do without.

Massage seats were a must have for my wife and she hardly uses them now. Not quite on the level we were expecting I guess.

It does a great job of keeping the blood flowing and providing a more relaxing drive. My wife hits it as soon as she gets in the vehicle and said we should never get another road trip vehicle without it.
