Hey all I am looking for a lightly used x50iM, with tow package and air suspension.

It feels like I’m looking for a unicorn, I’m guessing with supply shortages 2020 would be the most common year with this setup.

Typically when looking I try to see interior shots indicating if there is a button next to the dial to adjust the height in the center console.

Questions:
- Is air suspension part of a package or a separate option?
- Do all equipped x5s have the adjustment button in the center?
- Any other ways to narrow down if an x 5 has this?

Thanks

It is a separate option. $1000

- Do all equipped x5s have the adjustment button in the center?
Yes.

Air suspension does offer the ability to lower the car, and many times when people taking pictures they put it low. Also there is an extra button on the trunk for ride height control

Wait, that level adjustment toggle switch on center console mean you have air suspension. X5 without air suspension does NOT have that toggle switch, so it will be one way to tell if air suspension is equipped or not.

2 Axel air suspension is Option code 2VR. Whenever I "thought" I found what I was looking for I always had the selling dealer send me a copy of the official BMW Build Sheet, this was the only way to really know all the features/options on the car. If you see 2VR on the build sheet then you know the car has it. Otherwise you look at the center control console for the switch.

You meant to say No to that one.

I had the same initial thought. But when I read it again my understanding is he's referring to all X5s equipped with air suspension.

That was for the off road package that used to be offered.

I thought the down-hill speed control was on all of the X5's, but if there, it lets you set a max speed of downhill within limits so you could go down an incline without having to use the brakes.

Hill Descent Control is the button to the left of the left rocker.
