Well my X5 didn’t show up. Was supposed to arrive yesterday, and no luck. Kinda pissed off I don’t have it for Christmas. Hopefully by Tuesday. Merry Christmas everyone.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. I’m sitting at day #10 in Quality Check. Assuming not much happened over the weekend and I’m not sure when the factory gets back up to full speed? Not sure what my expectations should be at this point. I haven’t seen a single person post about being stuck this long in quality check so I’m really not sure what is going on.

Mine has been in dispatched from factory for almost 7-days. Hoping it arrives today or tomorrow.
Guessing over the holiday things seem to be stretched out. GLTA

That must be really frustrating! I'd be going fairly nuts.

Have you talked to your CA or Genius to get the bill of lading and track where it is in transit?

Holiday activities kept me busy over the weekend but if that status doesn’t change sometime early this week I have no idea how I’ll react

I picked up this beauty yesterday..loving it.

I hope the others get their cars too this week who were scheduled for this year.

Don’t want to hijack this thread but can we all start sharing knowledge about the car in this thread or can we create a new thread for that purpose.. I have bunch of questions like..

Is there anyway to lock/unlock the car with digital phone key without taking out the phone from the pocket. Touching the phone on the door handle is a bit frustrating since I experienced that ease with Tesla.

Can someone recommend BMW logo puddle light for this one?

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone with a prod date this week, and the 2022 ZENTRUM AND PLANT CLOSINGS dates state they’re on Xmas holiday till Dec. 30th. I’d also assume starting 2023 year off they’ll prob also be off Jan 2 and Jan 3rd. I assume things will start up Jan 4th (I think I’ve seen some ppl have prod dates 1-4-23 IIRC)

Man what a bummer that would be. I'd be on my 19th day of quality check if nothing happens until 1/4/23. Plus I don't have a ton of faith based on my recent history that it would even move out of QC on that day... Clearly I used up all of my good luck somewhere along the way

Spent the day driving about doing errands for fun and to get some miles on. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm shocked at how many things there are to learn in the car. I'm a tech geek and own a few BMW's but this one is a jump up for sure!
