No not BMW figures, test showed 4.37, also why would BMW put incorrect figures out for 50E but correct ones for 50/60i, if they are wrong figures they would all be wrong as they would test in same criteria for all engines. In UK bmw give figure of 4.8 seconds for 50E 0-62mph, figure for M50/60i IS given as 4.3 odd that they should get the 5oE so wrong!!!.

I would say in most instances they publish slower speeds, and lower HP ratings, for all vehicles. Likely expectation setting as well they don't test in the same conditions/configurations as some publications do.

i have done some research in both engine types and have come to this conclusion.

50e 0/100kmh: 4.6sec (4.8 claimed by BMW)
M60i 0/100kmh: 4.1 sec (4.3 claimed by BMW)

also interesting to note is that some tuning companies have already started making tunes for the 50e and in stock form the car was already putting out 515-527hp. Once tuned they got the car to 590-610hp

This is interesting to see. Thank you for posting.
Do they have 40i numbers too? Would be curious to see those stacked up against these 2.

Same here. My 2019 X5 40i just turned 5 years old and it's been perfect. At 50k miles its just getting started. I have no plan or need to upgrade to a newer version. I think the G05 X5 is a great vehicle.

Interesting to see the 40i top end is not all that different than the 50e. 50e excels in the off the line from e boost.
