My last 3 cars have been black, would highly recommend blue if able to change color on your build, imo you need a contrasting color to bring out the very nice black trim BMW put on the M sport models, black would just hide it, that's my 2 cents

Would you choose carbon black again if you could do it all over?

Hopefully I'll get to see both colors together at a dealer when I'm back in the U.S.

What did it end up costing you? My dealer loves overcharging for things...

How many labor hours? That's a lot for a set of $280 tips even though they're just part of the diffuser since the 50i technically has a quad exhaust

interesting, seems like they require a lot of work to install. I'll have to see once my car and parts here. I'm guessing there are ways without removing the bumper, if so the dealer was likely inexperienced since this is a new model

I have tried at home. There is no way to get to the screws that hold the tips from the bottom.

Well if anyone's curious click the below link and scroll down. You'll see how much of a PITA it is to replace those fake tips that go around the real exhaust tips https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/g...per/1VndGv2SPN

edit: after looking some more maybe it is possible without the bumper removal? see pic

That looks freakin awesome with the black grilles. They really do need to offer that as an option!
