My last 3 cars have been black, would highly recommend blue if able to change color on your build, imo you need a contrasting color to bring out the very nice black trim BMW put on the M sport models, black would just hide it, that's my 2 cents

I can confirm the exhaust tips need whole rear bumper removal, dealer did them for me

Me too, they charged me quite a bit for installation... grill is easily done at home if done carefully

How many labor hours? That's a lot for a set of $280 tips even though they're just part of the diffuser since the 50i technically has a quad exhaust

interesting, seems like they require a lot of work to install. I'll have to see once my car and parts here. I'm guessing there are ways without removing the bumper, if so the dealer was likely inexperienced since this is a new model

I have tried at home. There is no way to get to the screws that hold the tips from the bottom.

That looks freakin awesome with the black grilles. They really do need to offer that as an option!
