Traded in my M3 for x5

Loved the m3 when driving aggressively but realized that 99% of my driving was not. Drove this x5 (was just in for service) and fell in love. Pretty loaded. Love the 3rd row option because you get the air suspension and the second row becoming power operated (can't understand why the regular x5 doesn't have at least a manual recline in the second row). Many options I've never had before that I have to get used to but so far I'm loving it. Here are some pics. I'll try to post a review soon

Congrats and welcome to the X5 family!! Did you buy the X5 you were given while in for service? If so what kinda deal did you get for that??

No this wasn't my loaner. The loaner was pretty bare bones. I got an amazing deal. Then took $9k off the car and gave me $60k for my m3 (trade in was around $56k)

Yea, the new X5 is on a completely different level of luxury and tech than the other M cars. It’s a different animal. You will love it. Wait until you take a longer road trip.

could you share a picture of windshield top cameras? Thanks! Dealer told me the drive assistance package comes with LANE KEEPING feature and Adaptive cruise control.

now the delivered car only has ACC feature, doesn't have LANE KEEPING feature. is it able to OTA upgrade to get LANE KEEPING?

You need to order the Driving Assistance Professional Package in order to get the lane keeping assist. The standard package on the X5 is the Active Driving Assistant which only has lane departure warning.

There has been a production constraint on third rows for most of this year. It is listed in the 2020 price guide. Some say it will be available right away while others have said not until later in the model year.
