Galapagos

Anyone been to the Galapagos islands? Obviously you can't stay there would have to be a cruise or something like that. I searched it and there's some shady websites

Silversea Expedition Cruises have some Galapagos ships. Never been, but this is a pretty good Youtube channel for cruise reviews, including Silversea.

Why can't you stay? There appears to be hotels, a regional airport, and even bus service on one of the islands from what I can see on Google Maps.....

I Went to Galapagos Islands for scuba diving liveaboard on Humboldt Explorer few years ago.
It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it.
You can stay on some islands at resorts, hotels, hostels etc or as alternative you can take scuba diving or land-based cruises which cover several islands if you're not into scuba diving. Yes, for some of the islands you're prohibit to land on but others are inhabitant or open to visit.

Ecuador takes great care of this area and tons of wild life there.

Rented a house in the Galapagos...main island. House was in Puerto Ayora. One of the better dive trips for sea life. There is little to no coral due to the high changing temps of the waters. Highly recommend the trip before you cant go anymore (been rumored)

Spent a few days in Quito as well. Cool city.
