Refresh...Fingers Crossed

So - just in. The X3/X4 refresh.

Fingers crossed they don't do this with the X5/X6. That protruding front...and those X3 tail lights. :0

Design is subjective, but I'm definitely a fan of this refresh.

They should, however, make the electrified badging an optional package. I'm sooooooooo glad I have a 45e that looks like a BMW X5 and not a position statement.

I kind of like the front. I like the taillights the way they are now on the X5.

Those tail lights reminds me of a mask a wannabe superhero or wrestler would wear…

I have a feeling the X3M with that design language will look very attractive. The Plain Jane X3 not so much.

The LCI improves the standard xLine trim especially front and rear bumpers.

Any idea of other changes to the G05 for MY22? Updated interior or additional standard features, new features???

Refresh...Fingers Crossed

Of course I completely agree that it is totally subjective but personally I'm not a fan of that new front bumper (let alone the infamous electrified branding!)

We'll see what happens to the new X5…

Concur with the rear lights being liked a masked superhero. And the front bumper? Poor for us that have to parallel park on the street each day...with the morons who come across the river (I'm talking to you, Jersey) and can't parallel park.

I love it personally. Though I am a bit disappointed by the electrified by I stuff. If my 45e comes with it though I guess I could live with it? Pretty disappointing

Other than a few features/options not being available for MY22 there likely will be no changes for the X5.

I like none of it ... looks heinous - all this new design language looks like doodles from a high school sophomore ... the X3/4M, it's so needy, it screams inferiority complex

oh please please please don't do this to the X5 line, especially the X5M for 2022 - if they do, I'm out.

Where did you see that the 30e Hybrid is discontinued? Because the article linked here didn't mention it and the pictures OP attached is of the new X3 30e Hybrid. You can literally see the charge port with the new badging they said they are going with.

I so agree, get my 45e next week, heard in July, they are adding blue accents. I like understated.

Nothing wrong with the refresh, evolutionary always beats revolutionary. As long as the 4 series grille doesn't proliferate...

Its only discontinued in the US it turns out. Car and driver outright calls it discontinued and the 30e isn't mentioned in the US press release.

Okay, so maybe it's just me being fixated with front bumpers and all, but the one on the X3M totally reminds me of a Transformers movie!

I certainly like the 2021 design way better (looks more elegant and understated to me), but perhaps it's just a question of time and eventually I will get used to these new bolder, more geometric lines? IDK.
