Conti's on 22's

My car is a week away from being ready and it just dawned on me that I've only seen the X5 with continentals. With the M2, we joked about the Michelin / Conti lottery which I lost.

Does anyone know if BMW is putting different tires on the 22's? Or is it Conti only?

I had the same experience with the M2 (I won the Michelin lotto!)
The 22” come with either pirelli or Conti. I think the Cont are the winner in this case, at least those are what I’m hoping for.

That was my next question. What's the best SUV tire? I went through a full set of 20' Conti's on my 2016 X5 in 20,000 miles with normal driving. Not sure if that's good or bad :

*I should clarify; I live in Miami and the car will likely never see a real winter save for a road trip.

Did you have a staggered set up?

20,000 miles is actually quite good in that case. My factory RFT Bridgestones would've lasted 12k miles at best based on their wear after 5-6k miles. I sold them with my 21" wheels a while ago but my P Zero AS +'s are managing better with plenty of grip when I need it.

Every photo I've seen of the 22's was the Conti's, every 21 was the P ZERO summer RFT's.
