ordered esys cable and have all software downloaded but no clue how to use it as of yet, though, but want some instructions ahead of time

any help would be appreciated

Im trying to remember if one of the parking features requires more than base hardware as far as sensors go. Most of the advance features depend on the hardware included in the driving assistant and parking assistant packages. I used esysx so unsure about bimmercode

I believe this thread has a link to an excel sheet that explains which computer and line item can be coded for the G05. Some things are similar cross platform, so it's helpful to look at other G models to see if there are similarities.

I think it's the traffic light assist and lane change assist. You'll need some of the advanced hardware packages like DAP to use these features. Be careful if your coding the more advanced self driving features.

Thank you I think I was able to code that in my base model. It will change speed based upon signs. I don't have the ability for it to slow through traffic circles. That might be the etja though. I stopped looking into the more advanced features when I realized my x5 lacked most of the advanced hardware. I didn't make that mistake when ticking boxes on the new one

I have Launcher Pro: v3.7.0.315, and it is not coming up.
Last I coded was in Oct'2021 when it worked fine

If you have 5AU in your FA and have aSLA coded correctly the car will slow down for bends traffic circles & T junctions on the route if you have Driver Assist Professional (DAP) active AND navigating an actual route.

If you take the car to the next stage and have UCC (Urban Cruise Control) coded in your SAS3 ECU the car will slow down for the above road features WITHOUT navigation active. It will also slow down at a known junction if the road is in the map database using your indicators about a 100m beforehand but not at the driveway to your house or at a fuel station entrance. You do not need Driver Assist Plus (Etja)

Yes after a Windows 10 update fortunately my version still works but I have to close all other programs down disconnect from the Internet and then boot up LP. If you have the same version or bought from the same eBay source, you will see the date & time change to some day in May 2020. You can still do FDL editing and updates to the car but do not run any other programs at the same time.

I use Bimmercode in expert mode where possible as it has the latest mappings and LP where BC has no mappings for that particular ECU eg SAS3 ECU

For the first two, it is and will unlikely be posted anywhere.

For automatic breaking, you require FSC code and correct coding.

I have seen some that were carryovers from i3. Have not tested any on G05.

works fine, but it conflicts with VIM regarding the settings in SPEEDLOCK_SPEEDVALUE_MAX and MIN, where VIM needs that set at none and werte 00, if I am not mistaken. so, do I have to choose between one or the other or is there a way?

Not via werte values. The storage info shows bitmask details which limit accepted values.

• Use programming calculator to see 3F hexadecimal = 63 decimal = 111111 binary.
