A nice exhaust tone with a couple of subtle cracks when easing off of the throttle is nice, but long and pronounced burbles and cracks sound like there are timing issues with the engine. Not even mentioning the extreme pops and bangs that can be heard a mile down the road in the night. We are driving a sporty but civilized SAV and not a Group B rallye car from the 80s and 90s with anti-lag backfiring. To each his own though.

The extreme levels of this are horrible/damaging for the cats and exhaust as well. It's my understanding that's why they removed it from M5 or "neutered" them. It wasn't only for noise regs, they were getting vehicles in with problems.

Sounds pretty decent but Inwould remove the cats before you melt them or sheer the exhaust manifold.
