You have bigger problems than I thought if you choose your friends based on what OS they use.

Ive been using the wife's MacBook Pro for the last 2 weeks, and let me say im really close to killing myself. this thing is so unresponsive, slow, and just flat out disguting. its such a taksk for me just to browse. I dont understand how anyone can enjoy using this bullshit, its driving me up a wall.

Ohh god I miss my Asus. Need to get it back!

This is not a virus. It is a trojan and you have to deliberately type in your password and authorize installation.

I have been a sysadmin since 1996. I've used Macs ever since and I am yet to see a real virus that would do any sizable damage to a Mac.

if you type in your password accepting it, but if your are going to do that you might as well just throw your computer around and wonder why its not working.

i don't know who told you that, but they were obviously talking out of their ass. if you want your computer to run as best as it could, a routine basic maintenance is required. no matter what you use. pc, mac or a 2 million dollar interprise system.

its like saying that BMW is better than Audi, because you never change oil in a BMW.
