Hi anyone done a TV retrofit for the G05 ?
If yes, what were the parts and coding - or if an non bmw tv, what did you use.

TV for front head display - not necessarily for RSE.

Seems the easiest way would be by utilising an android plug in box (several available i.e. https://carplaymmb.com ) That way you get video and can add tv APPS, etc.

Need a new ram module (ram high) plus Different Circuit traps and TV aerial’s in the boot. That will only get you digital tv on you head unit. Not even 100% if the will work without RSE tho

RAM high equals not easy to get. Even after the original 2022 chip shortage impacted it (core component of the B&W audio system) it's still limited availability with a pay to play situation. For example only offered on the M60i or X5M LCI's or any 8-series as they start at nose bleed pricing even for an 840i.
