MyBMW app not updating?

Trying to figure out if this is a widespread issue or just me. For the first few days of me having the 45e, the MyBMW app worked fine. But now, it doesn't show when it's charging, doesn't update the current state of charge, doesn't log the charging sessions, etc. Also, the Vehicle Finder is stuck on a location from several days ago. However, the fuel level and mileage are still correct.

What's going on here and how do I fix it?

I solved it by connecting my phone and MyBMW app to the car.

I had the same issue when my X5 was getting wrapped. Premier Armor had my car for over a month getting Xpel PPF/CC and windows tinted, tires ceramic coated. After about 14 days, I couldn't connect to my car anymore. It was fun to spy on the guys and take pictures of them. But then it just stopped working. After I connected my phone to the car when I picked it up, it cleared up. Everything is working fine again.

I called the concierge line and they had me reboot idrive, do the "update all apps" option in idrive, uninstall and reinstall the phone app. That did the trick!
