I had Mineral White on my last X5. Just got my new 2024 X5 M package in Skyscraper grey and love it as well. Already received tons of compliments on the color. Does seem a bit different during daylight and night time. I think it looks great

What interior did you go with? Mind sharing a few photos?

I think if you do get Skyscraper, consider something other than cognac. Personal opinion, but for my eyes, it doesn't go well with the silvers/grays. I really like the Silverstone with Skyscraper or Brooklyn, but if that's too risky...then black works well.

White and cognac is a good look, as is white and coffee.
What do you think about skyscraper grey and white merino inteior? Worried with silverstone it will be too much grey.

I'm personally not a fan of skyscraper grey, but I think combining it with ivory merino would absolutely work.

That said, I wouldn't be concerned about "too much grey" since you almost exclusively see the interior when inside (except for the hood).

No love for Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic? BMW seems to be using it in most of their hero shots lately. I'll be ordering one soon with Silverstone interior. I think it looks great.

I was a little worried when I ordered my 2024 X5 50e in Carbon Black. Like some others, most of my cars other than my Long Beach Red Corvette Grand Sport have been black. I wanted to move off the full black and thought Carbon Black would be the right move. When I took delivery last week, I was thrilled with the color. The deep blues in Carbon Black are so rich looking. My expectations were totally exceeded!

This will be my 3rd Carbon Black, and it's still my favorite BMW color. I've done Black Sapphire a few times, and I even did Jet Black once, but CB is always a party!

What is the circular opening on the side skirt? The one looks like as if I can put a vaccum hose on?

Never really had a black or dark car before but after owning a Carbon Black F85 I really loved the way the color changes in different lighting, and looks so so good in direct sun light, especially when the car is clean and has been waxed/ceramic coated. BUT and big reason I will not get that color again, it doesn't stay clean for more than 1 to 2 days. Otherwise congrats and enjoy that great color.

I agree that you have to keep it clean. I ceramic coat my cars so it really doesn't take long to squirt them with my special non-detergent car soap, rinse with the pressure washer and blow dry with the electric leaf blower. A little extra TLC on the wheels and I'm off in my shinny Charcoal Black BMW!

You can’t be afraid of color to drive this, and you would have to be somewhat of an ec centric person but honestly I like it . One of the worst colors I’ve ever seen on BMW is there new blue that they’re putting on the LCi it’s very outdated. Looks like it’s from the 70s.

I’m impartial to my Black Sapphire Metallic 🖤 It’s a PITA to keep clean, but when it is clean it looks amazing. Tbh, it still looks amazing when dirty too. When the sun or light hits the paint and you see all the multi-color metallic flakes, it gives off an almost gun metal/deep charcoal color but deep black in dark or low lighting. I absolutely love it! 😁

Congrats! I miss black after having a white car for a while but after a few weeks, given my OCD about keeping my car clean, I say never again a black car 😃 with this cycle/logic, went with mineral white on my LCI order

If your 80 . I guess it would be OK. Lol it does nothing for the car makes it looks super outdated. White is also my least favorite, but I would take white over that color any day. At least it keeps it looking modern. But personally, that would be for me you have like what you like and second I would only by a bmw in black or frozen black

Had the trunk door replaced/repainted on my previous 2019 X5 which also was mineral white and it came out perfect! I know it is a triple layer paint and a PITA to match but solid body shops can do a good job. I asked them what is the easiest paint to match and he said non-metallic black which makes sense
