Tartufo Leather

I ordered my X5, 3 weeks ago. I chose the tartufo leather because it was beautiful in the showroom car. Am I going to regret it? Does anyone have an issue with dye transfer from dark denim?? Thanks!!

I have Tartufo on my 2021 X5 that I have now owned for a little over 2 years and 21,000 miles and it has held up very well with no noticeable dye transfer. This color is a little darker than Cognac and seems to withstand against stains better. Will most likely get the same interior on next car.

I like it in pictures but when I see it at a dealership, it’s way too orange for me couldn’t live with it .

I've got Tartufo and love it and so does everyone who has seen it. No die transfer from anything. Easy to keep clean, Merino is such a nice leather. Moo

I have Tartufo in my '22 X5.
I was apprehensive, like yourself. I'm so glad I went with it. After 22,000 miles it looks great and haven't had any dye transfer issues.

Tartufo is the one option I really wanted when I configured my X5. Especially since I wanted a contrast between the exterior color and my interior. It's such a nice color and much better when you see it in person. No dye transfer so far but also worth coating it with Colourlock leather shield and protector once you get the car and then clean every couple of months using a warm damp microfiber cloth (water) then follow it up with a dry cloth as well. Merino is oh so nice as well

I don't have a such great experience with a tartufo leather as people above, should have ordered black version instead.

Similar experience, wasn't thinking tartufo but when I went to order I saw it firsthand on an X5 in the showroom and loved it. The color really pops imo. I've had the car for about 8 mos and no dye transfer.

I had the car ceramic coated when I got it, and had the seats coated as well. The ceramic left no shine or change to the feel of the leather. When I wash the car, I'll wipe them down with a damp microfiber and around once a month I use Maguire's leather wipes. Would maintain it the same regardless of what color I chose, so not really doing anything above and beyond because of tartufo.

2023 X5 45e - ordered with tartufo (ordered based on only having seen on an X7) and have had zero regrets. Beautiful color, lots of compliments and ZERO wear or color issues.

40,000 miles on 2019 model. Absolutely no dye transfer or wear. Tartufo is beautiful and unique.

I clean and condition the leather every 4-6 months.

Had tartufo on my previous X3M, it’s one of the few things I miss about the car. Makes the interior look and feel ultra premium. You will NOT regret it.
