When you mean "pair", do you mean for Bluetooth connectivity or as a Digital Key?

My S23+ still wont let me add my phone as a Digital Key, I get a "Samsung Wallet doesn't support this digital key." error message on my phone, and that's after updating the Samsung Wallet App.
Apparantly its limited by country at the moment.

you’ll need to correct your model year. the 50e is MY24, not MY25

you should refer to your owner’s manual and check your settings in iDrive. there’s photos to help. lots of us don’t have the 50e so we don’t know if it’s different due to Digital Key Plus

i count only two 5's: X5 xDrive 50e

i believe TurtleBoy has access to a 50e owner's manual. not trying to offend but my point is if he's able to find the relevant info, so can you. (he doesn't even own the X5 PHEV.) it's been almost 2h since your ask for help, yet you have two (possibly three) ways to peruse your owner's manual:
- via iDrive
- via app (BMW Driver's Guide)
- via paper book, if still provided

As mentioned, I do not have an LCI or other vehicle with Digital Key Plus so I can only quote from the manual. As far as I know, we haven't had anyone post their experiences with it.

If I remember correct, the sweet spot for the Digital Key is a little to the right of what is shown in the manual.

I figured out why I couldn’t make the digital key plus work(I think ). I have an iPhone XR and you need a iPhone 11 and above with ultra wide band technology for it to work. Thanks turtleboy for the sweet spot answer. I will try it.

yes, a phone with UWB is required. one guy just picked up his 50e yesterday and loves how the new Digital Key Plus completely negates the need to carry the key fob anymore

I got this for a while on my S23 Ultra and then an update to Wallet (Check Galaxy Store not Play Store) allowed the key to work on a 2023 x45e (build December 2023).

I have to literally touch the phone to the handle to get it to open or lock the doors but I use it everyday when I go on hiking/biking. I wish it locked the door when I walked away from the car but that only works with the fob.

Now, if I could get all doors to unlock simultaneously, I would love it even more. Now I have to open the door and press the unlock button to open the passenger side door for the dog. 1st world problems.

1) folks with the new 50e are liking how Digital Key Plus allows the phone to act like the fob with Comfort Access functions

2) you can set all your doors to open simultaneously when unlocking. go to settings to change the action. this works for me whether I use my fob or digital keys

Digital key Plus works great with the Apple watch.
I have an older phone (iphone XR) which only allows the digital key (not plus) so now i just remember to wear my watch and it works like a key fob.

Anyone else with an android phone having trouble with DK Plus staying connected? Mine shows disconnected currently and I can't get it to reconnect with the car. I have BT, wifi and UWB all turned on.

When it has worked I do really like it. Very nice feature to have but I am not comfortable leaving the house without a key since the app disconnects occasionally.

It works great for locking/unlocking the car, but how do you start the car with the Apple Watch? If I have to remove the Watch and put it on the wireless charging pad, that's a huge dealbreaker for me.

With digital key plus, you dont have to take the phone out of your pocket. The car starts without keeping phone in charging pad. It works seamlessly for me. So for watch also, you dont have to put it in the charging pad.

Only downside is, the car gets unlocked more often if you have to walk near the car and dont intend to drive it.

please clarify how you're able to use the Watch with DK+ "like a key fob".

1) how do you lock/unlock doors? where do you place the Watch face when doing so?
2) how do you start the vehicle with only the Watch?
3) what model/series Watch do you have?

i would try deleting and readding it. digital key plus connects to my X7 from my Fold4 and S23 ultra from outside of my parking garage, i'm parked a one floor up and a bit in, and i can see it connected from across the street as i'm walking up.
