In the UK it's a clear option on the configurator, only black and tartufo colors can get M Seats. I know in the US configurator it wasn't available as far as I could tell.

M seats are not questionable for Europe. The issue is that the M logo logo on them is not illuminated unless its an X5M or X6M. That is what I was responding to.

Are you sure this can be ordered? I know for a fact that you can't order it in Germany/Austria/Switzerland and from this forum in the US as well. In the very early days of the LCI (Beginning of Feb) it was available to be configured, but every single order that had it was subsequently changed/cancelled/delayed. (With dealers expecting sometime in 2024 for it to become available, but nothing official of course.)

Apart from the M60i that has it as standard, of course.

The first LCI orders could order this but IAS got deleted afterwards. Now it can't be configured anymore. My dealer even doubts if it will become available on the 50e.

I asked my dealer and they checked with their main mechanic. The reply was "It can be retrofitted, but the cost is way too high to do this and not worth the effort as it is very labour intensive"

The Driving Assistant takes you to your destination even more safely. Keep in mind it does not include adaptive cruise only dynamic cruise. The Driving Assistance Professional package is a must have option.

Too late at this stage. DAP can only be added as a part of Tech Plus package which is over €5K.

I have been away from the forum for a couple of weeks, but wanted to share a new comment and a question: after a few weeks with the new car, yesterday I finally drove plenty on Sport + mode, and I have to say not only I am sufficiently impressed, it is quite amazing the nigh/day comparison to Comfort. Yes this is not an M-engine but I took a few rips and there is plenty of power/acceleration for an SUV, imho, and certainly compared with my prior X5.
So here is the (unintelligent) question: while driving in Sport + there is the sound of the engine revving quite differently (and like a sports car). Is this an interior "ambience-enhanced" sound of any kind or is it truly the exterior sound heard on the street?

Ranges from a few weeks to a few months, it all depends on whether the dealer has an allocation or not.

Did my contract on Monday, dealer has me slotted on a Week 35 allocation, so I'm thinking PCD should be mid to end of September. Hopefully it works out that way...

With the Executive Package, do you get a different sunroof or just the LED feature? Do you get a panoramic sunroof without this package and just miss out on the lights?
