Hello,

I was recently detailing my mom's 2023 X5 45e and noticed that the drivers side vent underneath the side view mirror shifts up and down slightly. Does anyone else have this issue?

Also, when rolling up/down the windows, do they slightly shift and tilt when the glass approaches the door frame?

Just curious.

Is the "vent" you're referring to on the outside of the car just rearward of the wheel well? If so, on mine its not actually a vent in the sense air doesn't flow through it, its just aesthetics and no, mine don't move a bit. My windows don't shift like your saying at all, they solid as expected. I have a '21 40i. Is it possible that your Mom's car has been in an accident or had work done to that side of the car?

Yeah, that is the vent. No accident or work done to her car.

Found a dealer car that also has a vent that shifts a little. Also, the window tilt thing is something that all X5s do supposedly from what a tech showed me on another car.
