We sold out of the first batch of front grilles that we had in stock. Should have more arriving soon and then will get those into paint right away.

$500 is ridiculous. You can get ones for the F15 on eBay for $60-75, $99 for the genuine BMW one. There will be cheaper versions available for the G05 in the future, without doubt. I can wait.

Roll of masking tape, $2.99.

I agree, the OEM part is at most $200 for both sides so I highly doubt paint + labor costs that much.

A local custom shop suggested plasti dip for the grill? I’m assuming there is a commercial grade and not the stuff you find on the shelf at Walmart. They did say it will not work on exhaust because of the temp but should be fine on grill. Anyone have experience with this product?

dont do it, plastidip is terrible when it will stat peeling.

Any reason these are priced so high relative to the parts actual cost? I don't think paint, prep/labor + parts are more than 50% of the price... let alone the $89 for 3" of body colored paint in the middle

We will post the install guide shortly. The install is very similar to the X3 / X4 front grilles which can be seen in this video.

The main difference is that the G05 has a camera in the front which is held on by 3 tabs. These need to be released.

Are you offering the g05 grill with the slats painted black but leaving the surround in chrome?

Yes that is one configuration we can do by request.

Factory chrome with gloss black painted slats with Black Sapphire center trim.

How do I get a price on that? But I don’t want the center strip painted, I want that left in chrome.
