But you will lose the ADV if done.

I think the Alpina looks good. May give that go and see if I like it
I coded the M display and I can confirm that I have NOT lost any functionality. I have the Advanced Drivers Assistance and it works and displays just as before. The only thing I have noticed is that the M display is pretty much standard and doesn't change much based on the driving mode.
How did you do that ?can you please share and share some pics as well. Thanks

I've attached the images of the M display and the advanced driver system.

I didn't do anything do anything special for this. Just used BimmerCode and coded the M display in.

Nice. Might just do that. And assume it's simple to code back to default?

Ps where did you get the red pedal shifts?

Yes, just code back to the backup or to the BMW display.

Got the paddles from a friend who's selling them. $150 usd

I'm with LexxM3 and to be more specific, nobody can answer if X "voids" the warranty because there's really so such thing. Ultimately the warranty is a contract between you and BMWNA (the importer and contracting agent) and has little to do with your dealership (who's an independent business) except the dealer may tattle on you and/or supply incriminating evidence - which obviously definitely matters, but they don't make any warranty decisions, just what information to share with BMWNA.

Here's the risk:

If *anything* goes wrong on your car during the warranty period, BMWNA could claim your coding was the cause since coding violates the terms of the warranty and would allow them to deny your warranty claim - even if you, say, coded headlights but were making an engine failure claim. BMWNA doesn't have to justify anything to deny your claim, has all of the experts and data, and has the lawyers on retainer to defend them versus you who ... doesn't.

That said, BMWNA also knows that that kind of customer treatment could have a chilling effect which is why you don't hear about it much ... though it DOES happen.

Thus ultimately simple non-expert-mode reversible coding is probably low risk, but it's not no-risk.
