USAA $1k Bonus cash?

USAA website is stating $1K Bonus Cash for the 2019 X5. Does anyone know if this applies to a financed/cash purchase or lease?

BMW dealer sites don't mention anything about USAA bonus cash.

Thanks for any help on this!

It is an incentive through USAA so it is not mentioned on BMW's/dealer's site but it is listed on the sale. The $1k is for financing/cash not through BMW, lease/BMW finance is $250.

If you take the $1000 USAA incentive you have to finance with USAA. You cannot get the $2000 BMWFS incentive. You can get a $250 USAA incentive and the BMWFS incentive if you finance with BMW.

I don't think that is the case. You can get the $1k incentive for using other non-bmw financing or paying cash. There are no exclusions listed on the targeted incentive sheet other than the amount being lowered to $250 for using BMW financing/leasing.

I thought you could only get incentives through USAA if you financed through them. If that isn't the case can someone please explain how you went about getting it? I purchased here in Germany through the BMW military program and am financing through Service Credit Union but I would definitely like to take advantage of the USAA incentive if possible. Thanks!

No, they are available for all members who are eligible for insurance products. Only the amount differs depending on how you finance/lease. It will be too late now since you already purchased but in the future just log onto the USAA site and go to the car discounts/offers page. Click on the BMW logo and it will email you a pdf which contains the Target Incentive form. Just take that to the dealer and they subtract the amount as part of the deal.

So I've received my USAA 'Incentive Offer', which is $1000 or $250 for lease or loan through BMW FS. The offer form states that to receive the $1000 there is no obligation to purchase a USAA product; i.e. you do not have to finance through USAA.

My question to this knowledgeable group is...does one have to finance through BMW FS to receive the $1250 loyalty rebate?

Is the answer is 'yes', then total the total rebate financing with BMW FS would be $1250 BMW loyalty + $250 USAA incentive.

If one does not need to finance through BMW FS to receive the BMW loyalty rebate, then can the $1000 USAA incentive be combined with the $1250 BMW loyalty discount?

Finally, can anyone provide a link to BMW's site that provides the details of the loyalty discount? Searching has turned up various references to it, but I've been unable to actually find it on the BMW's site (including the BMW FS site).

It is my understanding that the loyalty credit is available no matter how you finance or if you lease and it can be combined with the USAA incentive. I leased so only got the $250 so perhaps someone who has done it can chime in.

Last I saw, BMW was still offering the $2,000 APR credit (perhaps down to $750) so if you finance with BMW you would get the APR credit, loyalty credit and USAA credit.

Can you provide a link to documentation of the APR credit? And is the APR credit separate from the Loyalty credit or one in the same?

I had thought I had seen a thread that said if you get the $1000 from USAA you can not also get the $1000 from BMW Car Club. Is that right, or can they be combined?

Finally found documentation on BMW's website of the loyalty credit here...https://www.bmwusa.com/loyalty/x5.html

What's confusing is the page refers to the 2018 X5, but the picture on the page is of a 2019.

What is clear is that the loyalty credit applies when leased or financed. So, my conclusion is that one can qualify for the BMW loyalty + the USAA $250 credit, or the USAA $1000 credit, but not both.

Local dealer indicated the BMW loyalty credit is $1250, adding the $250 USAA when credit yielding a total of $1500. (The page I linked to above says $1500, but it also says 2018, so not sure.)

Dealer also indicated that minimum amount and term financed with BMW FS to receive the BMW loyalty credit is $7500/3 months.

That is not correct (was changed last Summer), you can get both the USAA incentive and the BMWCCA rebate.

Your dealer is correct, the loyalty credit for the 2019s is $1,250. The 2018 is $1,500.

The APR credit is listed on the BMW site under Offers & Finance.

Thanks for posting the screen capture. I found that page but:
- why does it say "up to $750 credit" and right below that "Also available: $2,000 APR credit"? Isn't the credit they're describing the 'APR credit'? And how is the $2,000 credit available?
- And why aren't either of these $1,250 - are they APR credits that are different than the 'loyalty credit'? And, if so, can they be combined?

APR credit is a credit that is given when you finance through BMW. The loyalty credit is for currently having a BMW. I also have seen the $750 but no one has been able to explain it.

Perhaps someone can give more info but your CA should have all of the details.

Placed the order for our 2019 X5 this afternoon and I can confirm TurtleBoy is correct - you can receive the loyalty+APR+USAA rebates, currently at $1250+$2000+$250.
