That seems very un-BMW-like to not cap those visible holes. There is even rust in there. That would drive me bonkers. lol

Didn't go with ACC and those holes better be plugged! Especially, given that it has been in QC for 11 days and counting

Wild guess. I think it is for the front radar sensor (ACC).
The sensor goes into the sensor mount (part 2) - http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=66_0507 which is attached to the middle of the air flap (part 4; you can see the two holes in the middle) http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=51_A234 |
