My car hasn't moved for a month so not sure what level the battery is at before I make any mods. I guess I can do with the engine running.... Going to see if this available in my car; Keep us posted. |

I have the latest E-sys 3.27x and v.4.22.41_PSdZData_Lite.
But I also have E-Sys_Setup-3.33.4-39276e2 and v.4.22.31_PSdZData_Full I am using a est_token.est token and ESysLauncherPROSetup_2.8.1_Build_155 This sound OK? I dont have E-SysX. Please do let me know thoughts Thanks. |

You need either latest launcher or esysx. I recommend buying official esysx |

Is there a way to attach the default drive mode at startup to a driver profile? I just setup the second key to my wife's profile. It works as intended and it is nice to have the car "set up" for the individual driver based on the profile/key assigned to that driver (seats, radio presets, etc). However, it would be even nicer to have the default drive mode assigned to a driver profile as well. Thoughts?

It's really not easy to do.
I couldn't be bothered, but there is a method documented here. I haven't tried it. You will need to be a member to get the file: https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthre...2216#pid552216 |

Here is the xml for a cheat. You can use the coding to apply directly in esys, or add to an existing cheat.
If anyone wants to test and confirm if it works, I'll ask jk to update the G05 cheat. Looks to be some nice new colours in there... <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <FDL> <cafd id="000051DD" name="BDC" author="jaimeen" series="S18A"> <code description="PINK,RED,OCEANBLUE,ORANGE,MAGENTA,LIG HTGREEN"> <group id="360A"> <function start="32" end="183" mask="11111111b" comment="LIC_LCI_COLOR_LIBRARY_DATA">00, 1A, 01, FF, 02, FF, FF, 02, FF, 02, FF, 00, 03, FF, 02, FF, FF, 01, FF, 00, 0A, FF, 02, FF, 00, 0A, 00, 03, FF, 00, 0A, FF, 01, 17, FF, 8F, FF, 02, 17, FF, 8F, 00, 03, 17, FF, 8F, FF, 01, EF, EF, 00, FF, 02, EF, EF, 00, 00, 03, EF, EF, 00, FF, 01, 1D, 00, FF, FF, 02, 1D, 00, FF, 00, 03, 1D, 00, FF, FF, 01, 29, FF, 00, FF, 02, 29, FF, 00, 00, 03, 29, FF, 00, FF, 02, 00, 00, 00, FE, 01, 96, 00, 00, FF, 02, 96, 00, 00, 00, 01, 00, B0, 60, FF, 02, 00, B0, 60, 00, 01, 00, 00, 00, FF, 02, 00, 00, 00, 00, 03, 00, 00, 00, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF, FF </function> </group> </code> <code description="360D"> <group id="colour combination"> <function start="3" end="24" mask="11111111b" comment="LIC_LCI_COLOR_PROFILES_DATA">00, 00, 01, 01, 02, 02, 03, 03, 04, 04, 05, 05, 00, 01, 04, 01, 05, 03, 00, 02, 02, 04</function> </group> </code> </cafd> <!--End--> </FDL> |

For those that want to do custom ambient colours and colour combinations, I don't think this will be possible without ESys and a Launcher (ESysX or Launcher Pro) as it is a) FDL coding (not VO), and b) requires access to a BDC ECU variant that I don't believe is in Bimmercode at this time (neither iOS, nor Android, neither production nor beta).

Maybe ... but I also couldn't find any of those parameters in any of the many G05 BDC ECUs on a quick (but not exhaustive) search.

Ignore the 4 and just do a general search for the file name. Once you locate you can add new colors if you wish. Note: it will still show up in you car as the original color. In other words - you can switch magenta for blue.

Am away from computer and car. Original files came from the F15 sheet but others had confirmed for me. I will report back when I return home in a few days.
