Windscreen demisting

Why does my windscreen not demist. I have to open my windows to help it along.

Any help would be great. Thank you.

If you are using Eco Pro driving mode the demisting takes alot longer.

Make sure the A/C is on, and the air circulation set to fresh air or automatic.

This annoyed me too when it was freezing outside and hadn’t set the preclimitisation.

As with other recommendations above, air on and fresh air. Recirculating seemed to make it worse for me. I also make sure the sunroof blind is closed to the night before.

The window vent is just in the middle so the outer parts take a bit longer.

My demist is intermittent - 80% of the time after selecting screen demist I can hear the fan speed at max but no airflow from the screen vent. Hence hardly any demisting occurs.
It works fine only 20% of the time, when it clears quite efficiently and quickly.
This has been reported to BMW but to no avail.
