Read Thread Remains Highlighted (forum management question)
Occasionally a thread remains highlighted after I have read it. Is it a weird quirk of the forum or am I missing something?
For me right now it’s “BimmerCode App just updated” (73 pages). |

Refresh the page...then see if it is no longer highlighted.

whenever someone posts but you yourself don't read it before he deletes it, it remains bold (unread), but note it stays bold for you only and not others (unless they also haven't read the post before its deletion), because it's unread. I'm uncertain of the duration, but it eventually "un-bolds". that's been my observation (though only twice).

Do you guys happen to click on the "back" button to go back to the general topics page after viewing a thread? If so, the thread would remain highlighted as your browser went back to the general topics page before opening the thread you just had opened. In a nut shell, you are moving back a page in history.

yes, paging back in Chrome browser on my Mac still shows all unread threads as bold despite actually being read until I refresh the page, then it un-bolds unless the aforementioned comment delete before being read criteria is met (again, just my hypothesis).
