The X5M does not need the incentive compared to the others. Same as it is not eligible for the BMWCCA rebate but other M models are.

Just like any other incentive, it is used to increase sales. Given it is not eligible for a few of them one can conclude its sales are hitting projections/where they want them to be.

For accuracy, none of the MY24 or MY25 X? M models are currently eligible for the Military Incentive. Only the MY23 are.

2025 allocations are eligible for a 4K military discount if you have a Navy Federal account. Deals are great right now… should have no problem also getting a 7-8% dealer discount.

No, the X?M's are still not eligible for the domestic military incentive unless they are MY23.

You can get the certificate at TrueCar's military site, the Navy Federal CU car buying site hosting by TrueCar or BMW's military web page. It is best to get it at one of the first two as using BMW's page requires a dealer to print the certificate unlike the others where you can print it and use it at any dealer.

Hmmm… I got my codes right away. The verification happened within 30 minutes of filling out all the required info. A couple of days later I filled out the info for bmw and it produced the codes right away.

So I have been a USAA member for 30+ years through my grandfather who is now deceased. I cannot verify through either the truecar or bmw military page because they both use id.me which no longer has an option for USAA. I contacted customer service and got a generic response about how to register. Sigh.

Has anyone actually used the USAA membership for this purpose?

I think we have had some but no positive. I believe they had to work with customer support in order to get it done. Maybe keep trying until you get someone that can handle it.
