I am not arguing differences as you noted above, just what we know to this point. We have members running the ARM downpipes on 2019+ 50i and shops confirming they have installed them on M50i.

EDIT: It also looks like you are quoting the same part number.
Do you know if there is any smell with the ARM DP's?
Thats mostly my main concern as to why I wouldnt want to do hi flow and do catted instead
A strong metallic smell for the first 500 miles, then that goes away.

After that, just the smell that the catalytic converters would normally entrap will be coming out the tailpipes. Slightly worse if you're running E85.

Catless dp will always smell really, really bad, because there's no cat. I do believe the older M550i uses different dp compares to the MY2020. I'm in the process of getting a 200cell sport cat dp for my M50i, will update you guys once it's fitted.

It's not as bad as you think. The catless downpipes on my F80 were way worse then my 50i for some odd reason. You just learn to love it after a while haha.

We have these in stock if you folks are interested in supporting a forum sponsor

I'd be more than happy to offer a reimbursement to anyone who can verify fitment of our M550i down pipe on the G05 platform. Just shoot over an e-mail to support@vr-speed.com and we'll set you up.

Overall is not bad, one of the bracket is off and needs a little adjustment, but it's better than no bracket.

So the upper and lower brackets did fit? Love that they have two mounting brackets.

Good info. I cannot imagine there is any way to avoid a CEL without a tune to remove it.
