At the port? I'm in FL, go by boat from SC?

I know the cars go through the build process and eventually get to "At the Port", but if I'm in Florida why does it need to go to a port from South Carolina? It's about an 8 hr drive... Does that mean it goes by slow boat to FL or is it just a staging area to wait to be loaded on the carrier truck?

If you are getting any accessories installed, it could stay "at the port" status for several days. After that, it will go by truck and you should receive very soon after it is in transit, fingers crossed for you!

We have an M440ix Gran Coupe coming from Germany that has been at the port status in Bremerhaven for 30 days now...Maybe TurtleBoy , who is better than Genius, could share some insight since Genius doesn't seem to know if when we will have a ship assignment. My husband is getting a little worried at this point since he isn't seeing anyone else on the G22 forum waiting that long.

At the port just means your car has made it to the accessory center for floor mats, etc.. your ca should be on its way to you soon! Congrats.

My daughter and son in law's M550i sat at Bremerhaven for almost 6 weeks before it got on the boat. My husband's M240ix sat for 2 weeks. I don't know what was wrong.

Ship space is pretty limited so we are seeing long delays for some vehicles, that is likely the reason.

Thank you for the insight MissVito and TurtleBoy ! We will just have to pack our patience awhile longer. We keep pushing our expectations out. Initially we were hoping to have it by Thanksgiving, now we are hoping by Christmas, but wouldn’t be surprised if it is after New Years.

My dealer just called me this morning to say my X5 is already finished and just waiting to get on the truck. We can pick it up next Saturday, Yay! The tracker wasn't accurate at all this time. I'm relieved it wasn't. The tracker still shows it entering the assembly line.
