Do you want to be added to the GB?

Sorry - not at this time. Coilovers are my next priority.

I thought about this too, but I'll wait for summer time to get a nice set of coilovers no need for them now winter is coming. Though I can't really use more power in the snow except to do some wicked donuts.

Too true. Last winter (pre-V3) I had virtually no traction issues. But with V3 things are pretty dicey even with DSC fully activated. I've come to realize, however, how complex the xdrive system really is. In many situations the car behaves like a RWD. It's actually very easy to kick out the rear end with DSC on - and I don't notice any DSC intervention with the brakes (unless you induce significant yaw by really punching it).

I think I'll wait until the spring thaw for DPs.

What's the verdict on emissions control? I'm thinking of replacing the secondary cats with CARB certified Magnaflow HFC. Will I run into trouble with emissions if I used a catless DP? That's my only hold up with the catless DP.

+1.

I know we'd pass the OBD test because of the O2 sims, but what about the sniffer test? that may be a hit or miss.

I will be running the car past the sniffer test with the catless pipes and posting results. My guess is with the secondary cats in place it will still pass OK - but that is a guess.

This is my guess as well. If you have at least one set of cats in the exhaust stream you should pass the sniff test.

I'm going catless and stinky... Can't wait to head up to Denver or should I mean down since I live at higher altitudes then the mile high city.

We are at 6300ft (outside Denver a bit). Don't forget to PM me with your schedule

Production is starting next week. Please PM me your PayPal addresses and I will get invoices out. Or, call me with a CC, so we can get orders rolling. Thanks!

Because we are a bunch of tree-hugging hippies. LOL~

I just want to make sure that it will pass smog with the sniffer for catless DPs, coz I'm replacing the secondary cats with Magnaflow HFCs.

As far as I know, it will pass. For the time being ar design 3" XI catted pipes are not happening. Catless are being produced this week!
