That is fairly normal. It was assembled, went through QC and is now at the accessories center getting your mats.

It actually got delivered to the dealer today ! I cannot believe how fast it was.
It’s fun to watch the progression. Did you do the F12 to see the date they will start ?

I called a genius yesterday and he said it should be completed Nov. 10. Still states production begins. He also said it could take a couple of weeks to get to me after it's finished. "Maybe I'll get it by end of November." The dealer told us mid-November. I live in Florida, so not real far from South Carolina, so not sure what the hold up would be. It shouldn't take too long to assign the carrier.

Maybe he just said that time frame to pad it. This is my 3rd X5 and I remember they seemed to zip through the assembly once the build actually started, and it was finished in two days. I got Tanzanite again on this one; it takes longer than most colors, but not as long as a full custom Individual color.

My husband's anxious to return the rental car as the insurance stopped paying for it last week and I miss my X5.

I had a Enterprise rental for 3 wks after I sold my Cayenne and b4 the X5 was delivered. Around $950 all-in which wasn’t bad. But a Camry ain’t no BMW. You might want to shop around for a rental??

I've got a Chevy Traverse; it's adequate. Luckily I don't have to drive far and I work from home. It's a PITA to park without the Surround View.

Enterprise has been good, they continued to give us the insurance rental rate for the duration. They first gave me an Armada which, for me, was ginormous and I couldn't get it in the garage so I switched it.

I haven't gone into the webpage script lately. I have a Mac, so no F12. I'm going to try again see if anything's changed.

Congrats on the new X5! I love them. This will be my 3rd. I would've kept my '21 M50i much longer but it was totaled.

Just for clarity for future readers, she its referring to the key. You can still use the "F12" process on a Mac to get your build information including the production date.

You'll love it! and I'm okay except for the knee airbag lacerating my legs, other than that I'm good. Car is very safe, I'm glad for that. It saved my life.

Thank you I have no doubt I will love it. I’m glad to hear that you’re OK. That sounds pretty painful. But thank goodness. It’s a great vehicle.
