Extended Merino Leather AND ventillated?

Hi there, trying to see if anyone with say 2024 delivery has this or not. I thought/think if you get the merino leather seats, then you only get heated seats since they are not perforated I believe.

BUT, our order says:
VAEW Ivory White Extended Merino leather (and)
ZRC Climate Comfort Package
453 Front ventilated seats N/C
4HA Front and Rear Heated Seats N/C
4HB Heated Front Seats, Armrests & Steering Whe... N/C
4NB 4-zone automatic climate control N/C

So, should I expect the front seats to be ventilated or not, i.e. is the climate comfort kind of overridden when merino is installed?

Thanks!

Really, sweet and thanks for the reply! Seems all videos I saw, the merino seemed solid/not perforated thus was just heated. Will be great if is ventilated at least (even if not colder) as live in hot hill country of Texas here!

Yes, they're perforated and you will love the ventilation being in TX! I'm in FL and they're great to have. Both the seat and the seat back are ventilated. You can set your preferences to turn on the seat cooling when it's a certain temperature outside. ;-) (same goes for seat heating)

Unfortunately that feature has been removed from 8.5, hopefully it will be added back at some point.

I have noticed heated seats and steering wheel heat have turned on automatically on occasion when the car deemed it "necessary" (low temps upper 30s). Thus far noticed it three times. The temperatures around Chicagoland have not been too low so I cannot confirm why and when the vehicle does it. Once only the heated seat turned on without the heated steering wheel. It seems they are trying to make it automated rather than manually setting parameters as I would prefer. I guess winter will show us how it works...

It's more of a learned behavior than an ambient temperature point that triggers if the heated (or ventilated) seats turn on or off.

In Chicago as well, and most of the summer my ventilated seats kicked on whenever I started the car. At some point in the last month or so, they no longer turn on as the temps have dropped a bit.

For heated seats, I sometimes use them in the summer because old man back pain, and they'd also kick on even if it were 75+ degrees outside, but not always.

I'm still trying to figure out the logic it uses. I kind of miss being able to set the ambient temp trigger points, but I must also say that the car has been pretty spot on in knowing when I want seat heat or ventilation (which is good, since it takes like 27 steps to get to the heated seat screen on iDrive 8 ).
