Hey guys this forum has been fun to get updates from you'all ,I just got mine delivered this evening ,Ordered 02/27/21.It took almost 4 weeks as my dealer suggested .

I did wanted HK sound system but it was not available at the time I ordered but the built in sound is pretty good ,I am no sound expert but have have been using bose HT system,beats & Sonos for last decade so it does compares/exceeds that quality

Total build cost $74395 with discounts I paid $63.5K plus Tax & Title ~$4.5K in NJ

Congrats! I placed my order Feb 23rd but I have a week 15 build so I have a bit to go. Just entered production status today and got the VIN number.

do you know why it took 5 weeks to go into production? Like a special leather? Waiting on dealer allocation ?The original poster only placed his a few days after yours and it was done already. I ask because I'm getting ready to order I think. Nothing on the lot here in Calif.

I searched in east coast for X45e pretty much from NJ to DC ,there where only few and not with the kind of specs you would want & most dealers in EC tells me it's hard for them to get one so build your own is the way to go .Unless you're going crazy on your build you should get within a month ,
BTW mine got in production on 03/12

It really all depends on your dealer's allocation. When I placed my order, my sales person was upfront with me and told me the production number and which build week it was going to be on. If you are going to place an order, make sure to get the production number/build week, if you are not provided with this then your dealer is just waiting for another allocation from BMWUSA, unless they are doing a trade with another dealer that have the same exact configuration that you wanted then you will get the car a lot sooner.

Wow, that seems fast! My 45e M Sport order placed on 3/1... 'Entering Assembly Line' today! Do you think there is any chance it could arrive to maine by the 9th? I’m driving to NYC and would love to take it! Similar build but I was able to add the HK plus a hitch.
