"Again" depends on where you originated the lease. If in Texas, then yes, you'll pay sales tax on the full vehicle price upfront and then again on the lease buyout price. At that point, it's considered a sale/title transfer from BMWFS to the new owner, the former lessee and thus, a taxable event.

Of course, there's always a "but". In this case, you might avoid the initial sales tax if you can get 'sales tax credits' from the leasing company. They're often available, but it's up to the dealer to offer them. Always ask.
