Thanks TurtleBoy . For the first one, turning off the vehicle. Will that also turn off the engine too if I get out to check or grab something, or just turn off iDrive? I know that with the engine off I can hold the volume knob for 3 seconds and turn iDrive off ( what I am trying to accomplish coding/or standard way) but if I get out of the vehicle I would like the engine to stay running. If thats not possible, I guess I would rather that they both just turn off.
For the warning messages, I must have missed it. I was looking through it ( the coding) last night for the first time ever and must have just missed it. I'll try again

Yeah, I'll worry about that if it becomes an issue. I just didn't want iDrive running if I get out to takes things out of the back into the house or to refuel. No need keeping that running. That trick worked though like you suggested, turning off the vehicle on last person exit.
