Anyone tried the T&C tablet holders? Are they worth it in comparison with regular headrest holders? Any pictures?

At least there are two people interested, and it appears likely no one has bought them yet. Seems to be one of those things that's not going to be around for long due to lack of popularity (with the current price tag for sure)

I have it. Works OK but you need to buy some cover for the tablet because the holder doesn’t have much rubber on it to hold the iPad firmly. So you need a cover for an iPad, ideally from some kind of rubber.
BMW sells also covers and a protective glass I believe for the screen - I think the glass is in case of an accident to protect the head of your child so that the iPad screen won’t hurt it (break like a regular glass into bigger pieces). I bought also T&C hanger for shopping bags and it works just fine. |

I don't have the tablet holders, but have the hook and coat hanger. Both great. They take up a bit of space in your rear passengers' faces, so should be removed then, but that's fast and easy.
I accidentally have a couple extra coat hangers, should start a for sale thread ...

That is an excellent question. I don't think the safety tests included that configuration and I wouldn't want to find out in a real life (or death) experience. That hook is a solid hefty block of plastic that would make an excellent skull-piercing spear — I would not leave that one in with a rear passenger. But they are easy and fast to remove, half a second.

Yes, I never let anyone sit behind if the hook is mounted.

I have the coathangers and hooks - the coathangers are really handy with a dress jacket or puffy coats in the winter. Snap in and out in less than a second.
